Conclusion of my first semester in HBP - RUS 104

                     Time flies , first semester ended . Recall back all the things i went through in this semester ,the very first project i received - self potrait. I need to draw myself and i was like 'oh my god' when i hear about this. I hate drawing and especially human . This is the very first time i draw myself and i am glad that i did it although it's not that nice but i truly understand the meaning of ' never try ,never know' .Besides that, i learned that we have to love the thing we do and only we can do it better. Be frankly , i started to enjoy while drawing and the feeling changed when it come to the second project - natural structures and human structures. 

                      Besides that , I learned a lot in the talk by lecturer especially about drawing  especially perspective drawing. I was very strange and seriously don't know what is perspective drawing .I am glad to have friend that willing to teach me and also video provided by lecturer . I was so happy once i know how to draw perspective drawing.

                    In the project 6, i learned a lot and know more about construction management .This project make me felt like i was really carrying out a real project ,all of us from different major worked together and each of us played our own role in this project. Frankly , i am really glad and lucky to be in group 9 (finger art consultant) with all of them. They let me know what is spirit of teamwork and also friendship. We had a lot of fun together in the studio .


                   However , in project 7  which with all of my coursemate, i  was quite sad because the lack of communication between all of us .Luckily  when come to project 8 , i am glad that this problem solved. All of us give full commitment and idea. We did our best on that night and we success ! I realized that unity really important when come to group work while when personal project time management is very important .

     Last but not least , although most of my time spent on studio work but I found that it's really fun and brought a lot of nice memories to me . We are going to separate into design and non design for next semester sigh. I will definetly miss the time in studio with all of them . 

Project 8

The last project of sem 1.

LIVE PERFORMANCE

The theme of the performance is 

'THE LOST KINGDOMS'

 and each major group should represent the specific Nusantara kingdoms,

for us Construction management is DEMAK.

We have to wear the customes that can reflect our kingdom -DEMAK and also a performance.

After discussion , we decided to perform a dance and a drama.

time flies,

Project 7

The second last project for this sem .

~ EXHIBITION ~

For this project ,each major are required to make a booth and share all the studiowork for this sem.

we can only start to decorate our booth on friday .

and the theme of this exhibition is 'THE FLOATING LINE'

after few discussion, we come out with this idea.

my natural structure has been chosen to share

and also human sturcture 

we spent two days to complete all the decoration.

 

Project 6c

 After langkawi trip , we went to buy material for our model . 

gained quite a lot of experience when buying those material,and know about types of wood.

in the night, we started to cut the woods.

model making is quite challenging ,

especially this because it's quite big.

roof is the most challenging part for us.

and dimension .

we need to be very careful while cutting the board .

especially balsa wood

Academic Trip - Langkawi

Went to langkawi with all of my schoolmate :)

this is my first time .

the first place we went is Eagle Square,

and we need to sketch a human structure and i chose eagle as my human structure.

  after that we check in our 'hotel'
i was so lucky to get a nice homestay

 the front view.

after that,
went to beach with friends.
it's really enjoy and forgot all the stress all the project work :)

and at the night,
we had steamboat as our dinner.
all of us gathered at the beach .
each major required to give a performance.
its quite enjoy when all of us dance the GUMMY BEAR.
:)

The second day activities were quite enjoy especially island hopping ! this is the very first time and i found that it's really fun and enjoy .

For the natural sketching ,i chose coconut tree as my natural structure.
at the noon , we all back to cenang beach and started all the games.
i was quite enjoy while playing the rope skipping !
my favourite games all the time :D


The next morning , last day of our trip .We had a talk in LADA in the morning before we took cable car to panaroma langkawi :D

Finally it come to the end , we have to leave langkawi and time to face the reality .
It's really a good experience for me and had many good memories with all of them.
Really enjoyed in these three days and appreciated what lecturers did to us . 

Project 6a & 6b

DESIGN & BUILD ‘AN AMPHITHEATRE STAGE’  - this is the project 6  

For this project , i was assigned in group 9 . each group consisted of 16 members with different courses. it's quite a big project . for project 6a , we have to come out a amphitheatre stage design . after few discussion , we came out with an idea which suggested by amirul . the idea came from a dance which is finger tutting . and here's the design . 

For the presentation drawing  part, we have to prepare thing like : 

-          Key Plan (NTS) and Location Plan (NTS) 
-          Site Inventory (NTS) 
-          Conceptual Design sketches and relevant bubble diagrams 
-  Site Plan (with roof plan of the stage and landscapes) (1:100 scale) 
-          Floor Plan (1:50 scale) (along with the dimensions & specifications)
 -          Elevations - Front, Rear, Right & Left Sides (1:50 scale) 
-          Horizontal and Longitudinal Sections (1:50 scale) 
-          3 Details of structural joints (1:20 scale) 
-          at least 3 Perspectives drawings

It took us quite a long time to finish it and this is the outcome from fingert art consultant :D 

For the 6b , we need to prepare two types of report which is progress report and design proposal report (final report) .

After presentation , time to do the model .
